Here were bringing in the frame. |

Legs are installed . |

Frame is being leveled by placing shims under the legs. This is to give the frame general level before installing the slates. |

Here are the shims that are placed under the leg. Where using a hard rubber shim that separates the wood from the hard flooring and also prevents sliding. |

Slates are leveled to precision with machinist levels. Most mechanics use carpenters levels or a ball rolling technique. Both methods are inferior to the machinist levels. |

Wedges are used to make the slate adjustments. Are methods are designed to keep the slates as close to the frame as possible. |

Slates are matched and glued. |
 |
Either wax or bondo is used to fill the gap in the seams. |
 |
Once the wax or bondo is removed the seam is flat and ready for cloth.. |

The cloth installation is a 24 step process. Here is a view of the side pocket before trimming. |

Rails are being set on the table. We have covered them already back at the shop. |

Rails are centered on the slate, aligned with each other and bolted down. |
 |
Pockets are tacked. |
 |
Finally, the table is ready to play. Although, we started in daylight and finished at night. This job was schedule for the evening and only took 2 hours. |
